Funny picture.

This picture seems like a pool of somewhere in Japan. Because of their swimming cloths seem like swimming cloths of Japanese school life video, which I have seen before in Korea.

The boy, who has Japanese ghost tattoo, seems playing with his friend, but I think other kids are running away from him. The Japanese ghost called "Oni", it is "Akuma", which is a demon in Japan.
Usually, Japanese gangs have this kind of tattoo, but this kids is not enough to be a gang.

It was really hilarious for me.

My hometown

My hometown is the Gyungkido, which is surrounding whole Seoul. Gyungkido is devided as a lot of areas, for make people who live in Seoul separate for emergency period. For example, the time during war with North Korea. Actually, I live in Sungnamsi part,which is the education section. Therefore, there are lots of additional education centers and students.While I was living there, I had to compite with lots of other students. Furthermore, Korea government made some protest town to let students' families live there and testing new education systems. The people who lived in Sungnamsi were usually students and they are living so hard in the competition land. Sungnamsi is surrounded by the Chungryang Mountain and Tanchoun river.  The Sungnamsi part has been set up by Korean airforce general, for Sungnamsi is the best place for hiding the airforce base. Therefore, there is an airforce base in the middle of Sungnamsi. Also, there is an signal cropsman base near my house, too.

My favorite place in Seattle

Seattle, which is the most interesting city of the Washington State in my opinion, has lots of places to experience special experiences. For example, Space needle, Pike place market,under city of Seattle,...etc. My favorite place is the under city of Seattle, for several reasons. First of all, I have never heard any kind of under city story before I came here. It was very interested when I heard. In addition, the truth, which some people who live in Seattle don't know about under city makes me feel like I know an unbelievable secret. Last of all, the under city looks like 1920s' buildings. I love that period, when 1910-1945. Above all, even though the under city is unrevealed, under city is another landmark of Seattle for me.

HW

1.       Before I came to Seattle, I thought that the Washington State was next to Washington DC.

2.       While I was riding an airplane, I could see the downtown Seattle, which is the best city in the USA I’ve seen.

3.       In 1962, the same year as my mother was born, the Space Needle was built.

4.       Although I didn’t know anyone in this city, I explored alone after I arrived in Seattle.

5.       Until I came to Seattle, I wasn’t interested in this city.

6.        While I was traveling in Portland, I got the same feeling as Seattle.

7.        After this quarter, I’ll go back to Korea

8.        I want to take culinary arts program as soon as I can.

9.       While I was searching for the South Seattle Community College, I thought the South Central Community College was SSCC.

10.     I haven’t thought that I’ll study in Seattle until I come to the U.S.

The fist surgery I took

When I was 17 years old, I had surgercial removal of cell which was in my neck. Although it wasn't a big surgery, I was frightened. Before I took the surgery, the surgeon gave me an anesthetic shot. However, I woke up during I was taking a surgery. I wasn't sure what was I doing at the first time I woke up, but I started to feel a lot of pain. At that time, my neck was opened, and I could feel pain of surgery. Although surgeons knew that I woke up, they didn't give me the anesthetic shot again. I started to scream, but they did not care. When I asked, "when is this surgery over?" They said, "we just opened your neck so it will take around fifteen minutes." I felt every feeling when they were touching my skin, when they were cutting something from my body, and when they were sewing the stitches. It was really scary, and it was enough to give me a shock. After I took the surgery, I was really upset. Because of they didn't give me the anesthetic shot again, I complained about all my pain, which I felt while I was taking that surgery, and I wanted them to give me some money as a compensation for damage. However, I knew that they won't pay for it, for I had signed for the surgery agreement paper before take the surgery. When I was getting out from the hospital, I thought that  I will never have any other surgery again.
